Courage is taking action in the presence of fear

You can be afraid and be brave simultaneously

Playing it safe only moves you to one place

The exact same place you've always stayed

Congratulations! You get to remain in your cardboard box

Now control everything around you

Everything in your box at least

Make it calm, make it orderly

It's a good life

It is in fact perfection

Question:

When was the last time you learned something?

Question:

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Question:

What was your last new experience?

Question:

When was the last time you felt emotionally vulnerable?

When was the last time you felt anything at all?

No, you're right of course.

Joy, happiness and love prevail in your little box

There is no pain, no sorrow, no hurting hearts inside your plain, brown, worn out box

Courage is not the absence of fear

We do not understand joy without knowing pain

Happiness means nothing without the knowledge of devastating sorrow

And love?

How can you fathom the very depths of love until you learn to love

The very ones who hurt your heart?

So get out of yourself

Step outside the box

Take the risk

Be Brave

Live
