Noisy days and lonely nights,

I walk with a crying heart, panting & gasping,
My trembling legs keep on asking,
How long is this fight?
How long can I fight?

A voice in me tells me to look up; look far
My teary eyes narrow, stretching for vision, searching for stars
And lo! There lays the tranquil horizon, distant but bright
My moist eyes reflect its joyful play of lights

I walk straight, I walk fast
My weak gait breaking into a sudden flight
As I mutter under my breath, no matter how long,
Till my legs take me, I will walk tight
Till my last breath, I will stand upright
I will not give up, I will fight
I will not give up, I will fight
