Our passion rains.

Each time

It's somehow always the same.

We share sweetness in vain

Then comes chaos and pain,

A bit like a hurricane

I got swept away.

Twisted up

In a whirlwind of promises

And empty words again.

Then made ashamed

Of everything I aim towards

You found a way

To make me change.

Destroyed my heart

And tore me apart

Until I worshiped and obeyed.

Those sweet promises

Flooded my brain

With false hope

Before they went down the drain.

All I was left with was

Stunned silence,

A mouth full of blame

And a rainbow reflection

Of the storm the we made.
