Sometimes we feel pain in things others find beauty in. It really depends where you are on an emotional standing.

Pain in the Rain

Rain falls.

Wet, dark and cold.

It has a bitter taste.

It hits the earth, pocketing the dirt, causing a break.

Runs through a seam,

brings chilly hands forth.

Dripping off the window like a depressing, continuous ache.

Something cleansing, why does it burn?

Falling pure but mixes.

Pollutes.

Stains.

Impure.

I wonder why...the pain in the rain exists for me?
