We often see the moon as a calm entity and the sun as a proud one. I think it's time to listen to what the moon has to say about a sun that steps down and shines its light on a dark moon so that
she too can feel bright. It is symbolic of how a little change in perception can make us see the world very differently. If only we would give people the chance to tell us their stories.

As I look towards the scorching sun,
tears fill my eyes.
Every day he burns far away,
every night behind me he lies.

To men, we seem together.
He and I are too far to unite.
But just because I want to shine,
every night behind me he lies.

All day he stays away,
and at dusk, we fight.
Disappointed he retreats from the horizon,
With my ego burning, I rise.

I give up my anger,
when comes twilight.
Because neither he leaves, nor he dies,
every night behind me he lies.

In the day I loathe my darkness,
At night I bask in esteem.
And for the sake of  my false pride,
every night behind me he lies.
