I'm petrified to say what I truly feel. A snake wraps its body around my mind and squeezes so hard that I see stars where my brilliant thoughts once were. I hold my breathe in my throat, so afraid of being judged by the ones I care about most. It's hard to share your wildest dreams, to explore the tiny crevices of your mind that lay dormant until someone awoke them in you. I admire the confident; free to express the many desires of their lives, theories of the world, leaving no subject untouched, no idea too outrageous. I fall in love with the way words fall off lips and how stories drip off tongues. I could listen forever, feeling as if everyone has something valuable to say except for myself. Don't be so scared, don't let the snake win, share what you’re thinking and let people peek within. You may be surprised that they like what they find, they might even stay and play with your fantasies for a while.
