Mad Believer -Celeste Lynn

I’ve screamed at God for help, There’s been no voice. I’ve made it rain with tortured tears; Stone-cold, He turned His head. I’ve lived my life to make Him proud, Offered the best and worst years I’ve lived; Poured my heart and out and waited Like a damn fool.

My darkness came, I bled, And writhed, groaned, died. The Divine Being laughed and then Twisted His knife in me. Betrayed by One I'd sworn to love, Had loved: now He plays me like a game; I wished there was no Thing called God, He crushed my soul.

But yet I still love Him, Like a damn fool. My heart's smashed to bits by His hands, Bloody and torn, I cry. Even though it seems He's left me dying, What is love without the pain and so; Maybe this I feel now was Not Him at all.
