I got used to biting my tongue I accidentally cut it too short. Back then i didn't really know how to realize my worth. It's like when that happened

I forgot how to speak.

Like the words started shaking in my mouth and hid right in between my teeth. I began swallowing my pride. It didn't want to be suppressed it seemed, because as I tried to digest it, it began clawing my insides causing my soul to bleed.

My thoughts tied beautiful ribbons around my heart and squeezed. I could resist the solemn silence and the feeling of being alone. I never feared myself, just the way I was slowely becoming so alone. Insincere words shaped an unfamiliar place I decided to call

my home.
