Uncertainty smashes the windows of stability,

Wilts the grasses of creativity,

Rots the branches of vitality,

births stones upon stones of rigid anxiety

and we stand in the eye of the storm

without protections--our norm.

Life has a way

of convincing us

things will be okay

until it pulls the carpet from beneath us

and lets us fall to the ground,

we're sound.

Or so we thought.

But the pulse of determination

runs deep in our veins

and we--I--will push on

 until I no longer can.

As for you,

there's not much I can say

other than well wishes

and don't forget:

there comes a time in everyone's life

where change is not only a must

but a gust

of violent winds

that will throw you off course

if you let them.
