O where art thou, the magical book?

Where the dried petals of roses are put!

The creases have started occupying the bloom

And the notes are losing melody as well as the tune!

Let me reminisce the romantic poems you penned

Under that shadowy tree, lying in my lap

The way your fingers moved, I could state

I had the best poet as my unsung fate!

Where art thou, the nightingale?

Your branch is untaken and so is the trail-

There’s no musical hum from your lips, my only Heart

Come before my soul dies and rips apart!

You remember the song you sang for me,

Under that same, green shadowy tree?

I wish I had asked you to shush and stop that-

Before the invaders took you; the all sovereigns I had!

Where art thou, my own, my mine?

The glasses are filled with the lilac wine-

Come; give the privilege to the glass to have a touch of your mouth

The pleadings are a way more piercing and a way more loud!

O the Heart of Stone, be a little kind-hearted

This poem will never end, it has just started!

Come, let us walk under the light of stars-

Cherish these moments and unchain our wrecked hearts!
