Like a kitten who tries to catch its tail
A foolish person will think
Happiness is lost
And in need of searching

He will soon grow weary
Of endlessly going around in circles
So near for his eyes to see
Yet so far for his hands to reach

But like a lion who looks ahead
To see what is beyond
The things set before its eyes
Troubling not in catching its tail

A wise person would live his life
Setting a goal and a vision
For he knows whichever he goes,
Just like the lion’s tail, happiness will follow his trail

Poor little kitten
And he in his foolishness
They miss not only happiness
But also their lives.
