Would you deny me my final months of life ?
No one knows when their day will come
That's why when your eyes open each day
Take a moment to remember it's a gift ... treasure it!
As tomorrow is never guaranteed
Would you put aside all your judgements & theories
Your pre-concieved notions & just fk what society says?
I'm trusting you to just be normal & fair, as well as kind
And see things through your unadulterated eyes...
As they are ... please?
I didn't ask for this ...
I didn't go looking for this ...
It began with a cold call where he listed all the services
That he or his crew can & will provide
The list was extensive & his delivery could use some polish
Make no mistake; the man is all about business
We talked occasionally & eventually we started texting
As time went by, the frequency of both naturally increased
As did our conversations about doing business together
Outsiders may not understand it, but he & I
We're on the same page when it comes to business
I come with a different set of skills than he
Of which will come in very handy
It will allow us both the opportunity to do what we love
To live in such a beautiful but economically challenged place
Will certainly be exposed in my work as I openly share
It's been quite the journey I've been on so far
They say "date a girl who loves to write"
You'll never have to wonder how she's feeling...
All you gotta do is read her work
As she pours out her heart n soul
For all the world to see
