The lines of her face whispered ancestral songs. In her eyes, vibrancy, reflecting age without limits. She spoke the truth with little hesitation and without the need to satisfy those stung by her words. On the day she boarded the train she knew she left behind marks of a particular kind: lines on other's faces, the truth of life etched into their skin until age weathered the lines undefined, sagging, and without direction. She breathed deep, sensing the night air travel like a knife down her throat. An adventure awaited, and I stood beside her with her bags, unprepared for the journey ahead of us.
