Woke up
Didn't feel like dressing
An hour or two
Flick the channels
Put on music radio
Made a sandwich
Tea, coffee, taste again
Then, a bath
Felt dirty enough
Sweat washed off
Relaxing now a bit more refreshed
Sunlight pouring in the window
The sound of occasional traffic
I sit with a dressing gown around me at my writing desk
Writing this
Today, a walk
TV, radio and read
No need for more shops
And then go to see my girlfriend
In her house
And see if I can
Have a good chat, a hug, she cooks a meal
Or if she will only see me for 10 minutes in her kitchen
Make a cup of tea but her own problems on her mind and not just mine
Tragedy, the dream cut short, still trying too hard
On this Saturday bright sunlit morning come midday

The End
