You can feel their glance

It runs through like a Lance

They gather around the table

Like Nobles of yore in fables

You may stand tall and proud

But they loom like a storm cloud

Motivated by prey's fear

They sit and they sneer

At the lesser flaws

They think they are law

Who decides what happens when

All the while ignoring their own sins

I can only look from behind my shade

At these bloated egos in parade

Yes they may have symmetry

But their minds lack chemistry

To perform their task

So in their own image they bask

I turn away already sick

A painted goblin thinking it's slick

Presiding over their fecal thrones

Not trying to atone

Surrounded by wannabes

Never fully free

They hit many a nerve

But they'll get what they deserve
