This poem was written on a back of a book as I was waiting for a train to head back home.

It's about when you want to escape the life you have and just run away for a chance to explore and start anew, but coming to the realization that you can do just that in the comfort of your home.

"The Train"

Written by: paulinanilah13

I wait to board a train

a long one, where dreams await my future

to get away from all things vain

for the fresh scent of Italian leather

I have a dream with voices

that echo a long beautiful song

it wasn’t an easy pick of choices,

for I plan to disappear for long

the rush of mystery, it’s thrilling, it’s grand

will one think of me, I ponder, I plan

My past is haunting, I need an escape

to vanish from thin air, a new different place

where love is pure love and hate is never born

I board the train that's taking me home

Good poem. I enjoyed reading it. I've got a tip: the poem may easily have some extra images taken from a train.
