Not a cloud in the sky, on this autumn night,

A breeze makes a tornado, out of fallen leaves.

Natural lighting, basking in the moonlight,

Shooting stars look like snowflakes, falling to earth.

Spilt milk in the sky, nothing to cry about, but I

Still shed a tear, from the sheer cosmic beauty.

See my zodiac sign, aquarius stands tall and bright,

All the constellations came out, just to say hello.

Faint but bright dots, stand out within in the stars,

The King of the Solar system, greets all his subjects.

Earth’s sister and twin here too, impromptu family reunion,

Something new with every gaze, never know what’s coming next.

11:11, the perfect time to wish upon, the shooting stars,

Glimmering like diamonds, streaking across the atmosphere.

A scene so beautiful, you’ll write it down in your memoirs,

And describe that shooting stars, look just like snowflakes.

On this autumn night, everything is put into perspective,

Cause this pale blue dot is so small, on the grand cosmic scale.

Are we alone in the universe, or is our equipment too ineffective,

You never know, one of these shooting stars could be a UFO.

I’ve been among the stars, ascended into the exosphere,

Drank a tall glass of the milky way, just to get up there.

Raced with comets, played chess with the moon, I’ve even

Danced on the rings of Saturn, far above of the troposphere

The memories are clear, like the waters of Crater Lake, Oregon,

Weightless, the burden of gravity lifted off of my fucking shoulders.

Flying through outer space, maybe you saw me as a shooting star,

Up there I’ve found true peace, and now I let bygones be bygone.

Not a cloud in the sky, on this autumn night,

A breeze makes a tornado, out of fallen leaves.

Natural lighting, basking in the moonlight,

Shooting stars look like snowflakes, falling to earth.
