Collisions in a polyrhythmic storm drown roaring engines
each smashing droplet is insignificant
and still the crying sky is cleaned

It’s not allowed to rain
yet hope-full boxes remain

unopened

Concealing arms and armour
hidden flags devoid of flight
and black flak jackets

Brace against winded breeze
dance a stolen song
fight the miserable night

Minute insurgencies each minute

Burn out the oil painted skyline
pump time-worn frictionless bellows
leave behind dead skin, frost bitten by a
home-made butane bomb

They have no idea
what they are doing

As ringing metal shatters for the third time
the ground suspends itself with shoots of black bamboo

Shout child fury
this blown glass zoo
will fracture
