I woke up to a loud bang sound coming from outside my window. It was a Sunday night around 5:45 in the morning. My mom had gotten me up for school. As I was getting dressed I heard a loud bang sound again. I looked over this time and saw nothing but darkness.

I continued to get dressed and as I was about to leave my bedroom I heard the noise again. This time I ran over to my window and opened it and stuck my head out. Seeing nothing I grabbed my flashlight and light up the ground. I almost dropped it as I saw a man standing directly below me waving as if he was waiting for me to leave my house. I told my mom about the man but she said I had an over active imagination and that I didn’t want to go to school.

She packed my lunch into my backpack and handed me it and opened the door and told me that the bus would be here shortly. Afraid I stared at her and then stared at the opened door darkness was waiting along with the man. I slowly started to walk outside, my mom shut the door and I heard a noise behind me like leaves crunching beneath someone feet. I turned around to the man he was still smiling and waiting to me this time I realized he had something in his hand something sharp. He approached me.

I let out a scream that turned into a cough. I saw the headlights of the bus coming down the road. The man must have too because he froze and as the bus got closer to my house he backed away and ran off into the woods as I got onto the bus.

To this day I have no idea who the man was or what he wanted. All I knew is that whatever he wanted it was bad news.
