The legend returns, Trump is the Titanic, iceberg cold,
truth has torn a gaping hole, his followers are told

“Abandon ship!” but they're in a denial trance
and don't move, as the deck chairs dance.

The Ice Water Shuffle, as the stern rises high,
a forty five degree angle, but still they ignore the cry.

They won't be saved, we need to save who we can,
those who aren't lost somewhere in LaLa-Land.

Seven miles down their ice water mansion awaits,
Captain Trump will rescue them, but it's already too late.

He's headed for the lifeboats, hasn't sent out an SOS,
Why he denied the warning signs is anybody's guess.

Sailed full speed ahead into dangerous seas
with reckless abandon, just doing as he pleased.

They still believe he will save them, in him blind trust,
but the paying passengers, their faith will soon turn to rust

The Hell with women and children first, everyone one their own,
as beneath their feet, the ship of state gives a mighty groan.

Perpendicular now, they gather on in vain on soon-to-plunge deck,
Last-minute pleas to save yourselves have less-than-no effect.

Down they go, riding hope beneath to a watery grave,
the rescue ships arrive, search, but there's no left to save.
