Found in the Celtic spirituality of early Europe, Native American, African, Australian, and in many other ancient belief systems throughout the world, it was understood that the spirits of animals could be sought from where they co-existed alongside human beings.

Here to teach, warn and guide, these animal essances were usually wild and were met in spaces outside of human habitation.

In modern times, humanity has brought forth the 'pet,' a non-human companion which can become family. With this type of close connection, the animal spirit is more likely to become bonded to its 'owner,' especially when well cared for and loved.

So, at this time in human history, these special animal spirits can be more readily observed by those who believe that they exist.
