My face is colder than Arctic skies,

Yet in my soul, there’s a war to break out;

We were a clear, crystal blue enterprise,

How have we turned into thunderous clouds?

Eyes filled with raindrops and tongue tied in knots,

You shook my ground, only held by a thread;

Risking to lose everything that I’ve got,

I fell in love with what I’ve never had.

You led astray once a vision so clear,

Disarmed my heart, and it couldn’t resist

Drifting away into your atmosphere,

And for the first time, my soul felt a kiss.

Though I knew well from the start we were doomed,

Because to romances, I’ve been a radar;

Luring me in, that is what you did best,

I trust my heart, though my brain knows it’s fatal.

My face is colder than Arctic skies,

Yet in my soul, there’s a fire to burn;

Now that our pantomime found it’s demise,

I have some definite lessons to learn.

Eyes filled with raindrops and tongue tied in knots,

Hoping that this time, I’ve finally grown;

Risking to lose everything that I’ve got,

I fell in love with what I’ve never known.
