A sea of white

so far the eye sees,

hiding houses

hiding trees—

everywhere

it seems.

Yet from the house

they drape

and 'round the trees

they cape

that joyous feeling

takes its shape.

It’s Christmas season.

All's crowned

in colors so bright

from trees in the ground

through rooftops high

and low they’re wound.

So take a look

‘cause yes its cold

and now you’re wet

but no one’s too old

to take joy in the snow

they used to mold

and the lights that hang

rainbow, white and gold.
