The moon felt empty without light.
The sun too busy to see the plight.
Until the moon heard word,
Of someone wonderful and absurd.
Seeking out happiness in her sight.
She found the sun and he gave in,
For everything had become bright within.
She became blinded by his light,
And moved too fast.
Though finally at last,
Her memory of the sun diminished that Night.
Many days gone past,
Her light was cast.
She again grew sorrow without light.
