After a harrowing physical journey, she let herself sleep again.

nevermind the undone dishes, the clothes on the floor, she slept.

neverending, the cycle continued, the fear elongated her grief

a neat notebook full of nothing, a true account of her memories.

 

She's a thief, 

prowling in

her own life,

drowning in

mystique

 

Retracts the claws gripping her innards, she lets go

she puts it all in order, she cleans, she gets up

one step at a time she climbs back out of the grave

the cave, the pit, even though it truly sucks she gets up
