Time

Time

Fleeting Flying

Living and Dying.

We think to ourselves

I've got plenty of time.”

But, like a cruel mocker,

we get robbed of that time.

Loved ones we thought

would leave us never

are suddenly ripped away forever.

We find ourselves wishing

for one more hour or day

Just a little more

time to say

everything that should've

been said before

before time cruelly

slammed the door.

Hold on to your loved ones.

Keep them all close.

For how long we'll have them,

time only knows.
