She was in love, but who was I to stop it?

She said she had enough, but who was I to drop it?

I cry myself to sleep at night,

I look over to see if she's alright.

I should have known from her lonely eyes.

I should have known from the broken cries.

He can't do anything for her.

They will never be as good as we were.

How can she doe this, she broke my heart,

I now know why the pastor said till death do us part.

I wrote her name on my arm with broken glass,

I tied the knot, closed my eyes, and lived my last.
