My hope is gone, dreams shattered with disillusionment.

No happiness left to find, as broken promises echo through my mind.

I’m fading... into the background, drowned out by your lies and your fabrication.

It hurts... so deep inside, the loneliness that doesn’t fade with time.

Sorrow... rushes out my pores; as darkness threatens my very soul.

Despair… hangs around my neck, like a precious jewel of untimely death.

When will this pain end inside? My happy ever after, I’ll never find. Just empty words, laced with lies.

I want no more part in this world I hate. I wish to leave and run far away.

From life, from love, from emptiness.

Too little, too late, as my heart aches; for something true, something real, but nothing good is left to feel.

You took my love and threw it away, your deception and your lying ways; broke my dreams and scattered them away.
