Darkness enters,
as the light of day departs.
For those who walk at night,
closely guard your hearts.

Its shadows overcome;
the water, sky and land.
Beware my night travelers,
for evil is at hand.

Be frightened I say,
as the last sign of light is gone.
It's seeking you out;
be brave, be strong.

Its talon like fingers,
so dark and foreboding,
are reaching out to grasp your soul;
I tell you keep on running.
