Into the sea of torment and despair I fall

Tattered is my soul

Crippled is my body

Short is my breath

But I shall push on

For you, my dear

I would endure this much pain a thousand times over

Even if I must abandon all reason

And break myself

So that I may fulfill a wish as selfish as this

I have resolved

I will not go back on my promise.

The promise I made to you, my love.

On that cold night

underneath a thousand pale shards

“I will end your suffering and bring unto you: your due happiness.”

In my trembling hands I hold a blade of thorns

In this garden of contradictions

With eyes glowing red from the slaughter of innocents

I know in this moment,

The evils I commit will continue to live on

But when I recall your tearful eyes,

I feel in my heart that it will all be worth it.

Because if it was for you,

I would even steal the stars themselves.

The tower is collapsing

The sun is setting

Over the sea of venom

In this world which has been plunged into chaos and madness

So many have I allowed to die

For the sake of the one I love

But never will I regret following through

With this sinful desire of mine

So do not weep for me

You’ve shed enough tears already.

Soon, I will return to you

All this darkness shall be left behind us

And we will smile together again

Just like we did in better days

This I promise.
