I saw us tonight.

The pale pink of your lips,

The deep red of mine.

The colors in the sky took flight,

And transformed into our hips

Pressed together after that bottle of wine.

I wanted to live in that moment,

In the bliss.

You saw the sky differently.

Yet, the colors were the same.

It's only been a year, and you don't even remember me.
