I hear the whispers of love

Greeting at couple's doors

Holding a baby as it sleeps

You feel belong

I hear whispers of crying children

Begging for their mother’s love

Their father’s embrace

Never even came

I hear the whispers of joy

Seeing time as you reach your goal

Luck was on your side

Seeing the sunshine

I hear the whispers of grieving mothers

Holding on to their child

Wish it was them

Embracing in sleep

The whispers became echos

Repeating every pain and joy

That humans created

The echos became a shouts

No longer a silent whispers

Because the quiet solitude

Eventually became a voice to be remembered

I hear a voice calling my name

A tender soft voice

In the terrible wind

That spoke sweet words to me

I thought I couldn’t hear
