Forgetful

Where the oceans meet the sea,

That is the place you will find me.

In the cold on sunny days,

Soaking up the warmth and rays.

I remember you at times,

Prayers unanswered and broken lines.

When the light begins to fade,

The stars shine with Hope today.

My mind finds me forgetfully forgetful

And blind to the Blessings You send my way,

The sun shines bright with a brand new day,

And Hope burns brighter with the passing of this today.

Yet I am forgetfully forgetful,

Of everything you have done to bring me here today.

I am drowning,

Trying to find my way forward from yesterday.

Still You know me.

You carry me through the brand new day,

Even though I may lose my way,

You call it an adventure and are with me every step of the way.

Constantly you are near.

Taking away every single bit of fear and shame,

Removing my hatred and my pain.

Thank You Abba,

For every Blessing You send my way.

I Love You Abba forever and always.
