Ignorance
Your name is fear
I call you out
From the ancient putrified
Shadows protecting you

Hatred
Your face is pale
I name you
Inside the privileged cocoon
Of your gentrified garden

Greed
Your currency is oppression
I banish you
To the boneyard
Of your own excesses

To these the greatest of our individual and collective evils,

We bear witness -

Through the purest eyes of the
Child starving in the street

With every gash and welt of the
Forgotten man dying in a jail cell

By the righteous gasp of the beaten
Woman imprisoned in her home

And by the legions of we, the people
Who daily struggle to survive

Let it be known -

We see. We hear. We rise.
We take back our power.
