Hey love where did you go,

it's high time you come back home.

We desperately need you back,

ever since you left hate has been on the attack.

Sexism and racism still exist,

and it seems almost everyone wants them to persist.

Shootings at schools we can't even protect that place,

even while learning to mature we can't keep them safe.

Sitting without coffee can get you arrested,

and if you really want to be hated kneel to protest it.

Now it doesn't matter what side you're on,

the situation has gone on too long.

We have to find the middle ground,

and agree to put our weapons down.

Because the more we let this hatred boil,

the more blood we spill on our soil.
