Stormswept.

The wind it draws me out,

through the mist

and through the rain,

makes me want to

wander so

I’m never seen again.

It buffets me,

and pushes me

but I no longer care,

for the past

I’ve left behind

and it is no longer there.

I’m totally alone

out here

for sheltering others are;

I’m stepping in to

somewhere

that is not so very far.

Isolation is engulfing,

lashed by rain

and lashed by wind;

identity is obsolete,

myself I do

rescind.

I walk and walk

on through the storm

with not a trace of fear,

but somewhere

along the line

mistakes are very clear.

For right there

in front of me

a sight I said ‘No More’

for I’ve walked in a

 circle and before me

is my door.
