The candle flickers,

And I sink deeper for her,

Too much on my mind,

My brain it tinkers away and away and away!

There are no words left to say to the stranger I loved but cannot seem to escape...

Yes she haunts me this way.

Day after,

Day after,

Day.

Such a sick twist I should bleed like this,

Oh!

The sounds of her laugh I will admit I do miss,

but all we share now is a pen and my wrist.

Carve pages in ink till the pain does desist!

Memories blown apart like leaves in the wind,

Anxieties like needles and skin.

I was taught people are seasons...

Curious surprise!

We are no longer friends.
