When you walked into my life I had just enough time to register the blood on your arm and the scars on your face.

There is never enough time as we need.

When you walked into my life you were in a very bad place. There's never enough space as we need to cry and fight and scream.

When you walked into my life you were only eighteen. You were a broken boy, you felt that you had no other choice.

There's never enough time to say goodbye.

When you walked into my life, I screamed. I was afraid and I approached you the way one would approach a loaded gun or a bear in the wilderness.

I said please don't hurt me, and you said that you wouldn't.

There are never enough band-aids to cover up the pain. When you walked into my life, you let me help you and talked me down with a soft smile. I was freaking out, you were calm and cool.

There are never enough words to say what I wish I could say to you now. I helped you as much as I was able. I bandaged up your arm, and said: "why did you do this to yourself?"

You shook your head and told me "it's personal."

There is never enough time to say you are not alone, someone out there cares about you. There is always a way out.

When you walked into my life, you changed the layout.

I wish I had the words to heal you.
