there is nothing in this world like the feeling and spirit of mastery

when the intention and the action are so intimate that there is

zero separation between will and existence

 artistry at its peak

imagine a swordsman so practiced that his blade is not a tool

it is one of his own limbs

it responds no differently than his own hand

one only needs the intention to grip, to grab, to caress

one does not need to think and work through the awkwardness

 of using one's own hands

 his sword is no different

make no mistake that while this mastery

that comes from intimacy of action

 can be illustrated martially

it can just as easily be a wordsmith

who can make his point with zero equivocation

over which terms would most directly

transmit not only the ideas in their mind

but the flavor, voice, or flare, as well

 whichever is best

 really any passion taken in

to the point where it has become

as much the individual as is the face

 with which they were born
