The term groupie is a slang word in reference to a fan of a particular musician, celebrity, or musical group who follows this person or band around while they're on tour or who attends as many of their public appearances as possible, usually in hopes of getting to know them more. The word "groupie" originated around 1965 to describe teen-aged girls or young women who sought brief liaisons with musicians.

Olga was a groupie. She was following aging rock star "Max Payne" on tour. She chose "A Perfect Day" to get intimate with him. The day "The Water Diviner," "Largo Winch," told her Max would feel a basic need in human relations called "Quantum of Solace." Olga had to be in the right place, at the right time to provide Max with the right amount of comfort to ease his inner pain.

As an aging rock star Max was worried of falling in the "Land of Oblivion." Indeed, his "star" was fading slowly bur surely. To give a big concert in the "Magic City" of Miami wouldn't change anything. The public was tired of the same old songs. Max felt depressed and indulged himself in sex, drugs and alcohol. One can say that Olga came at the right time so save Max from himself. "To the Wonder" of Max's band members it worked better than anything they tried to help him.

Olga loved Max's music so much that she wanted to be around the man who made it. She was not content with an autograph or a look from the stage, or a selfie. She took the next step and got what she really wanted. It took a lot of courage because she had to make her way through many groupies. With Max she hoped for a romance, or a one-night stand. She even hopped to marry him for a second.

Olga had to face many prejudices: mainly the loose morals of silly girls, exploited by lascivious rock stars. Despite of it, Olga wanted to believe her romance with Max was more about love than sex.

To Olga there was nothing better than making love with Max in his living room listening to his music. There was nothing better on Earth. She felt it was her duty to be a muse to take care of Max's brilliant creativity that had inspired so many over the past decades. Max was such a needy soul. Olga felt she was stabilizing his mood. She would calm him when he woke up screaming in pain. Olga fell in love with Max and wanted to be true to him. She didn't care about what people said about their relationship. But at the end it turned out they had a long-term fling that was really awesome. It's possible Max also fell in love, but he was so confused and unstable that the relationship didn't last.

After their relationship ended Olga published a book about her time with Max. It made her feel good. She told her truth in a sweet way and Mad had no problems with the book being published. However, she was dragged into social media "debates" from those who decried her losing her dignity. A lot of people came after Olga, she was accused of "selling" herself for fame and public attention. But she didn't care. She was very proud of her history. She had no regrets at all.

Olga hopes that people will see her life as the choice for freedom. The choice for allowing sex to be a gorgeous, exquisite part of her life as opposed to something scary. The music of talented and successful musicians is a spiritual experience. Olga wanted to connect sexually and spiritually with Max, to connect with the divine, to forget everything else but that, to be actually one with all that is,... while having an orgasm making love with Max, a lost and disturbed, but a spiritually inspiring soul.

"Music evokes so many feelings in us, memories, nostalgia, things that are connected to our past."

Groupies like Olga want to experience these feelings sharing intimate experiences with the men who make the "magic," who make the music.

"I like men who paint or write or do something creative."

Olga dated painters and writers before moving to aging rock stars.

"I'm a bit of a romantic. In theory!"

That is mean not always? She might be driven by lust sometimes.

"When you love someone, you should see beyond their image."

In the case of Olga, beyond the image of an aging rock star. To get to know intimately the man who makes the music...

"No matter how much you try to pretend and force yourself and maybe fight against love and try to forget or be oblivious to it, there's no way to fight it. I think when it's there, it's there."

So, when it's there, don't look elsewhere.

"Being single is only sad if you have a problem with your own company. I'm content with mine."

Relationships always end the same way. It looks groupies are no exception.

"So, goodnight Olga. "The Ring Finger" has no ring on it. You made the choice for freedom, and that's not as bad as people imagine."
