Under God's eye we walk

Tiny pebbles cruching beneath our feet.

Tiny pebbles, each essential

To make this endless trail.

Together we build sand castles.

We laugh and we smile

We work and toil

Tiny pebbles in our hands

More castles we build as the day fades.

The sun sets and the ocean rises

Eroding our foundations.

The water pulls at our ankles

As our castles begin to crumble.

A waning moon rises, illuminating the drowning crests.

We fade into the sand

And let the waves wash us away.
