Inside my mind contains an island of no kind

 

A storm brews ahead, I think this is over

 

I think I might be dead

 

Up above me, there are clouds I can see

 

Divided into two parts, I am rained on by the dark

 

As I make my way to the ship that's docked

 

The grass blades cut me and rip me apart

 

I am bleeding now as I arrive to this ship

 

And I watch it take off, without me in it

 

I stand alone, marooned, 

 

As the wind rolls in with a monsoon

 

The waves of the sea turn into monster figures I can see

 

They swallow me now,

 

 I can not breathe

 

For they are coming to eat me

 

Catching my breath, I make way to the shore

 

Where I see something I've never seen before

 

A bird has landed on my shoulder, 

 

His persuading strength 

 

Helps me push past the boulder

 

I reach the other side as I come to find

 

There lies an oak tree, 

 

In the lost island of me
