Inside my mind contains an island of no kind

A storm brews ahead, I think this is over

I think I might be dead

Up above me, there are clouds I can see

Divided into two parts, I am rained on by the dark

As I make my way to the ship that's docked

The grass blades cut me and rip me apart

I am bleeding now as I arrive to this ship

And I watch it take off, without me in it

I stand alone, marooned,

As the wind rolls in with a monsoon

The waves of the sea turn into monster figures I can see

They swallow me now,

 I can not breathe

For they are coming to eat me

Catching my breath, I make way to the shore

Where I see something I've never seen before

A bird has landed on my shoulder,

His persuading strength

Helps me push past the boulder

I reach the other side as I come to find

There lies an oak tree,

In the lost island of me
