Your body feels strong, yet your soul is weak

Like a prisoner, you feel trapped and your emotions begin to leak

The mind running a constant race, which never seems to end

And you wonder; will my spirit ever mend?

You continue to wager this way and that

Questioning, if slowly your heart’s gone flat

On the verge of nowhere left to turn,

You pray another night that the lesson will be learned

But as the sun rises to a new day,

And the day drags on; you’ll be left feeling empty, with everyone gone

Alone you sit, unraveled inside;

And all that remains, is your torn mind,

With the answers, yet to find
