Let's be honest ladies. It isn't all unicorns, rainbows and butterflies. There are times when it's hard. Very hard. But in this day in age, it is a taboo subject that we don't want to discuss. We see all the beautiful, sweet clips of mothers and their children on commercials and social media. We try so hard to measure up to it. As long as we post a picture of our smiling kids, every thing is fine right? Wrong. It is ok to struggle. It is ok to not feel ok. We all have those moments. I see you Mommas. I see YOU. You've got this.

M.y marks are embedded deep, and now I just look cheap.

O.ver and over I slather the miracle cream, just to realize that it only works in my dreams.

T.hankful and blessed (is what they say), but I am only feeling compressed.

H.ang on (they say), as I try to supress a yawn.

E.veryday I struggle to be what they say, all the while I'm hanging on by a little fray.

R.eaching deep down is hard, especially when I feel so scarred.

H.oever impossible it may see, I will not let myself be sucked into the mainstream.

O.theres may look down on me, but I will show them all who is queen bee.

O.nly time will heal these tender wounds, as I sit down and listen to some old tunes.

H.olding my children in my lap, I know I can defeat this deadly trap.
