The sky is on fire

It's burning through the trees

and the clouds are just ashes from the flames

Our sins are in the air

A cold wind is passing through

coming down from the plains

it carries stories of a time not long ago

but we can't go back again

I was born like a bastard

100 years too late

I'm an orphan to the horizon

but it hasn't sealed my fate

There's still a cowboy somewhere

on a horse named "Solitude"

he wanders on, he don't belong to anyone

and that's the way that it should be

He's still sticking to his guns

leather holster on his hip

he doesn't care about the ways of this world

that's what it means to be free

He was born like a bastard

100 years too late

He's an orphan to the horizon

but it hasn't sealed his fate
