Sadomasochism is the giving or receiving pleasure from acts involving the receipt or infliction of pain or humiliation. Practitioners of sadomasochism may seek sexual gratification from their acts. While the terms sadist and masochist refer respectively to one who enjoys giving or receiving pain, practitioners of sadomasochism may switch between activity and passivity.

Dakota was sadomasochist. She liked to "Date and Switch" lovers, and felt a "Need for Speed." She felt "Crazy in Alabama" and decided to move to Washington to study English literature. She lived on "21 Jump Street" with "Chloe and Theo" her roommates on the university campus. Dakota was not interested in "The Five-Year Engagement" her lover Tom proposed her. She knew "How to Be Single" and wanted to remain so.

Through "The Social Network" of the university Dakota was given the opportunity to interview Christian Grey, a 27-year-old billionaire, entrepreneur, and CEO of Grey Enterprises Holdings Inc.

When she met with Christian at his Seattle headquarters called Grey House, he took an interest in her. He agreed to Dakota's request for a photo shoot to accompany the article for which she had interviewed him. Christian invited Dakota for coffee, but he left abruptly, saying he was not the man for her. They eventually began to see each other. Christian explained to Dakota that he only had interrelations involving bondage that was clearly defined in a signed contract. While considering the agreement and negotiating her own terms, and after visiting his "playroom", a room stocked with a variety of BDSM toys, furniture, and gear, she and Christian had sex.

Christian bestowed Dakota with gifts and favors, such as a new car and laptop computer. He became frustrated when Dakota expressed she wanted more than the one-sided relationship he proposed. She wanted "Fifty Shades of Grey." He wanted "Fifty Shades Darker." At the end they got "Fifty Shades Freed."

Christian and Dakota got married, hired an attractive architect to rebuild a new house. The married couple continued with their erotic sexual experimentation, but matters became complicated when Dakota announced she was pregnant. Indeed, Christian had other plans for their early years together. They continued arguing during hours with Dakota telling Christian how important the baby was for her. How did it end? They started a family "Fifty Shades Brighter."

With a newborn baby, no more "Transgression" for Christian, who met his ex-lover and former BDSM dominant, Elena Lincoln, when Dakota was pregnant. On her side, Dakota forgot "How to Be Single." As a young mother she didn't feel a "Need for Speed" anymore. She had stopped to "Date and Switch" lovers when she met Christian.

How do sadomasochists think? Let's explore the mind of Dakota.

"I don't have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame."

Whatever they do, sadomasochists don't feel ashamed. There's nothing wrong with their BDSM practices as long as nobody is forced against their will.

"I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

That's the reason why Dakota originally entered the sadomasochism world. She wanted to break a man down. I wonder how it feels to do so?

"I think the sexiest thing is a hat. It's very sexy!"

Actually, this is not BDSM. This is sexual fetishism. Fetishism is defined as a sexual interest in non-living objects, body parts or secretions.

"I had to be physically and emotionally naked, show both my body and soul. I felt emotionally vulnerable and physically exposed, it was a hard choice to make but I was intrigued since the beginning. I think that...the things that scare you the most are the ones you gotta do."

Dakota is remembering the feelings she experienced during her first BDSM session. It was challenging to feel so vulnerable and exposed. People like Dakota are drawn to this kind of experience.

"I was attracted to the positive outlook on women especially exploring relationships with different people and being confident and comfortable and strong. That was the kind of thing that was appealing to me, because that's what's real, and that's honest, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. That's what single women do."

They "Date and Switch" lovers, and feel a "Need for Speed." They do it confidently, comfortably and with strength. To be honest, that's the real thing. There's no reasons to feel ashamed of it.

"There are some days when I can do my thing and be in the world and walk around, and it's fine. And then there are other days where it's totally not fine, and I want to crawl into a hole and die. And it's the most invasive and worst."

More invasive and worst than BDSM. At least for people like Dakota.

"So, goodnight Dakota. "Ben and Kate" had "Bad Times at the El Royale." I think you should propose them to try something different: "Fifty Shades of Grey," Fifty Shades Darker" or "Fifty Shades Freed." I'm sure they'll find what suit them best."
