Companies are concentric constructions. The architecture of good organisations is built by strong and creative individuals over decades of hard and dedicated work.  A virtuous company is an example for its teamwork and leadership.  A good team signifies a healthy relationship among employees. When relationships are affected, it gives rise to contradictions.

A friend of mine once told me “We humans are structurally made of contradictions, living peacefully, sometimes painfully, with our oxymoronic selves”. Yes, his quote is absolutely spot-on. It is frequently informal to observe such inconsistencies in others rather than in ourselves.

Forgiveness betters contradictions and ameliorates relationships. This habit of forgiveness deeply involves us immensely into perspective values and makes peace with the pain, and we are ready to let it go. Forgiveness is also a tactical survival manoeuvre in course of human repentance. But, one must know whether it is a genuine and justifiable anomaly for forgiveness. In workplaces, forgiveness won’t change the past; it may likely change the future.

I have seen people, who attempted to build a life with people who are fundamentally dishonest. Because in the life process, nothing is coincidence as everything is connected sequentially. As human beings are society bound, our learning process is different. First, we prevent doing old and habitual mistakes. Secondly, we can create a sort of stable environment with rules, understanding circumstances for predictive and reactive mistakes, eventually feedback or appraisal. We all knowingly or unknowingly do this in personal and professional life, which in turn enhances a form of expertise but lacks wisdom.

In spite of the practices and precautions we take, still we make mistakes and we overlook them instead of correcting them. Some people regret, those are aged because regret requires age and wisdom. So, it is a minimum prerequisite.

When work is stalked up, Workplace is the petri dish of human waste.

As of decade back, teamwork was the bread of organisations, but now it is slowly narrowing. Lean, Mean and Clean have become catchphrase for lean start-ups and SMEs. Wherein, few creative individuals are the most significant than lots of small timers.

From my early inception of occupation, I deferred in my own way and I dare say teamwork steals a lot from intelligent and hardworking members.

I say that isolation insulates you with an extra-care, like the bud in a terminal protuberance. But when buds are on the tree, buds may be specialized to develop into flowers or preserves and enables the flower to blossom later. Team-working is to that extent only. Teamwork only promotes garden siblings, in which a team leader or manager is the gardeners to nurture own nature.

I believe the best way to develop ourselves is in concentric circles: start with teamwork for a while and work way out from there.

So ask yourself some questions like:

  1. What am I good at?
  2. What has a team and team members learned from being together?
  3. For creative individuals, how long is it good enough to be a member of a team?
  4. How one can be in a position to contribute rather than consume and can add order rather than disorder?

All creative and intuitive individuals are inner before they become peripheral. To expedite the retrieval, initially, the creative individuals try to assimilate with others to understand and gauge the depth of others. Later they measure the depth of self, differentiate themselves in logic and authenticity when compare with team members and eventually disassociate from them, to associate with like-minded personalities.

Creative individuals think in terms of macro and ordinary beings think in terms of micro.

If you don’t know, it’s time to think about your personal reputation. Also, it’s about more than just your reputation. It’s about how to build skills, relationship and reputation to proactively connect with others and get the resources necessary to bring new ideas to life. It is how you can to build your innovation capital which can leverage your career in fast-track.

My specific focus is on self-improvement tips based on proven scientific research. In order to answer some questions in our daily walk of life, I uncover the latest scientific research and explain it in a way that my readers can easily understand and actually use. As I share these science-based ideas for living a better life, I like to showcase the habits and rituals of athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs. By analysing the stories of top performers from many different fields and understanding proved scientific principles, we can start to tease out the common characteristics that make these people the best at what they do.

One way of thinking creatively is by differencing from the hoard. The focal mistake is with us only. Most often we overestimate our decision making but underestimate the decision vanity. The decisions we have taken are worthless unless we plan to manage the decisions. So creative thinkers and intelligent people do not take too many decisions, they take important decisions and given more importance for planning to manage them. That is the secret of success.

It’s not just being creative or the quality of ideas but you must also acquire resources in a competitive market to execute and commercialize them.

When you distinguish yourself from others with positive psychology, then you should be able to promote yourself in the job market. In those days, nobody had promoted Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King.  They had grown from moments and opportunities. You create moments and find opportunities and then promote yourself with the proven skill set.

When you have it, it comes naturally to tell who you are, who you know, what you are known for, your ideas, and specific actions you can take to amplify. This is called the professional innovative asset. This isn’t something you are born with; it’s something you have to build.

As human beings, we are protective of those who are protective of us. Have we ever questioned ourselves that how many times, we have contradictory thoughts in a day? Not forgiving others is a thought of contradiction. So, how many times our thoughts have contradicted our actions? How often our feelings compete with our ideologies and views at a workplace?

Due to deficiency of forgiveness trait, many teams are collapsed, good managers/leaders have failed or lost jobs, creative and intelligent workforce have forsaken old establishments and lastly, small and medium companies are warped.

I shall have to conclude this article.  I say that I don't merely write about things. Along the way, I like to try out the concepts for myself as I experiment with building better habits as a consultant, entrepreneur, writer, and speaker. In the end, my work ends up being one-part storytelling, one-part academic research, one-part personal experiment. It's a colourful blend of inspirational stories, academic science, and hard-earned wisdom.
