Hey, 2018, 1954 called, and wants its thinking back.

While your flagging in the breeze, find the balls that you lack.

Let's understand we must get down in the mud and the grime,

'cause what they're doing is nothing less than a crime.

There's no other way but to meet attack with attack, fire with fire

They turn a deaf ear, fake blindness to a President who's a liar

We tried logic, compromise, polite, and reason,

ain't worked for shit, now it's the dawning of the mad season.

I hate to think that, because there's already too much division,

but there's too much caving by Democrats, too much indecision.

I see no other choice than to fight or get run over, steam rolled,

watching, a silent witness as the horror show unfolds.

I've changed my thinking that we should keep to higher ground,

but you can't do that of the other side bullies their way around.

You can't bring logic and reason to an emotion fight,

and you can't expect to fight in the mud, and keep your suit white.
