In the chaos of a budding mind

An embellished illusion forms afar

An image of future order and love

An ever present and visible guide

A way to rule one’s life

A beacon of inspiration

An inexhaustible source of strength

Built ever stronger through suffering

Refined in clarity through sacrifice

Monopolizing focus from here and now

Successful order reinforces

Hyperopia self-contracted

Self-shackled to an ill-fated journey

Along friable stone a course paved with pride

Covering fertile seeds of unrest

A detour encountered despite myopia

Divergence deemed incredulous, Stay true!

Disbelief & avoidance reframed as perseverance and courage

The traveler increasingly impassive as the path narrows

And another…And another…

Tragic effort dedicated to a fool’s toil

Yet another blessed detour discovered

The once revered path obscured

Engulfed by a forest of chaos returned

The shackle key presents, reluctantly

Rising above false innocence

The first story finally understood

Eyes now blinded by truth

Lost for the first time – but free

Searching -- with eyes untrained to see this close…
