You words they pierce like arrows

The sanguine drips about the floor

I feel them in my marrow

And am happy to have been touched once more

I think it's more than you expect

You see I'm happy to bear these scars

You flaws to me are perfect

Beautiful reminders of who you are

I'm just worried that your stuck

And completely unable to proceed

I just want to lift you up

Unfortunately you asked that I concede

Let me tell you of my dreams

The truth is stranger than a lie

It's your face in my mind every night it seems

This joy I'll never deny

For this reason I've made you gifts

And when the dreams turn to ash

I know they wouldn't uplift

So I throw them in the trash

You're everything to me you see

I'm not quite certain I know how to fight

Lie with me while you lie with me

And tell me its alright

I'm keeping eyes open

ready for the watch

My dreams are now broken

Yet another arrow you notch

Every time I try to see

Youve taken shots from the start

No matter how you pierce me

its always in the heart.

It's okay I like they pain

Mostly in my own way

I hope my words are not in vein

Because I love it everyday
